we need more information:
what version of Lynx, what compiler & curses are you using (at least)?
what do you mean by "just hangs"?
eg if the compile doesn't even start it could be your system or compiler.
send us the output from your compile attempt.
the latest Lynx is 2-7-2 from www.slcc.edu/lynx/release/ ;
lots of information from lynx.browser.org/ .
