as a frequent user of the printing screen,
i hope this can be fixed back again before 2-8.
it reminds me of the way in which collapsing  <br><br>  was introduced
in 2-6 or 2-7 (whichever it was) without warning, explanation
or -- it seems to me -- justification
(no-one has ever pointed out the location of this item in the HTML specs).

however, i fully sympathise with TD's desire to conclude the present process.
