I've been running 2.0.29 in my older machine since last fall, and the only
problems I've had have been related to heat (e.g., compiling XFree86 on
a 60Mhz machine takes 4-5 hours and makes the machine run a bit out of spec).
In 'normal' use that's not a problem.

( my new machine does it just under an hour ;-)
