lynx-dev partial link highlighting?

./configure --prefix=/projects/intranet/
--libdir=/projects/intranet/lib/lynx/ --enable-forms-options
--enable-persistent-cookies --enable-partial --enable-default-colors
--enable-extended-dtd --enable-externs --enable-nsl-fork --with-zlib
--with-screen=ncurses
SPARC Solaris 2.5.1 Sun C compiler and Ncurses patched up thru Sept 5.
When I display a web page, the links are shown in inverse.
When I go to <URL:http://www.tclconsortium.org/>, the text of the links I see
only invert about 2/3 of the text. A link with only 10 characters shows
6 characters inverted, etc.
Anyone know why this might happen?
