Correct!
Hoping that the following would make an end to this unit conflict:
% units kbyte
Meaning: kilobyte(8bits)
SI value: 10+3
% units kbit
Meaning: kilobinary information unit
SI value: 10+3
% units Mbyte
Meaning: megabyte(8bits)
SI value: 10+6
% units kbytes kbits
Meaning: kilo<?bytes>
SI value: ?
Meaning: kilo<?bits>
SI value: ?
%
ps: 10+3 means 10 to the power 3
ps2: solaris /usr/bin/units does not have kbyte/kbit but Linux one should.
The above output is created by a modified (for astronomy) version
of units which is developed in Strassburg, France.
