Navigating while downloading - In a very limited sense it is there,
with -partial display ("downloading" is normal loading not
'd'ownload, "navigating" is within the partial document).

For the more general case:

If you want to do it all *within* one lynx process - not without
A LOT of changes.

But you can set up whatever you like with EXTERN ('.' key), including
downloading in background with some external command (or another lynx)
if your OS allows that.
