That joke isn't as funny as you thought <grin>. I seem to remember within
the past 2 weeks or so another patch that had to be made to distinguish
the IRIX from an EBCDIC machine - for some reason they keep getting confused.
We probably should figure out what it is that's fooling configure and get
that fixed...
