Are the patches cumulative? I get the following:
Forbidden; Your client is not allowed to access the requested object.
when I attempt to access either of:
http://www.slcc.edu/lynx/release2-8-2/patches/lynx2.8.2rel.1-fix.patch.gz
http://www.slcc.edu/lynx/release2-8-2/patches/lynx2.8.2rel.1-fix2.patch.gz
Is this is because fix3 incorporates and supersedes fix2 and fix, or is this
a problem?
And when I apply and build with the two later patches, I get the following
startling difference in executable sizes:
nyx10: ls -al */*/*lynx
-rwxr-xr-x 1 pgilmart 1196032 Sep 6 09:03 lynx2-8-2rel.1/bin/lynx
-rwxr-xr-x 1 pgilmart 1531904 Aug 14 23:18 lynx2-8-2rel.1/bin/oldlynx
nyx10: uname -a
SunOS nyx10 4.1.4 2 sun4m
The attributes seem similar?
lynx: sparc demand paged dynamically linked executable not stripped
oldlynx: sparc demand paged dynamically linked executable not stripped
I'm confused,
