Unfortunately, there aren't any precompiled binaries of lynx with SSL
support available for distribution now. Now that the RSA patent has
expired, it should be possible for someone outside the US to make a
binary available. The US export regulations for cryptography have
been eased, but the restriction on distribution to Libya, Cuba, etc.
probably makes it difficult to distribute under the GPL from the US.
If you have a shell account on a unix machine, you should be able to
compile your own SSL-enabled lynx binary. If disk space doesn't allow
that, you can probably compile the edssl or eassl daemon to act as a
https proxy.
