[Lynx-dev] proceed without username/password?

I'm using Lynx Version 2.8.5rel.1 (04 Feb 2004) libwww-FM 2.14, SSL-MM
1.4.1, GNUTLS 1.4.4 Built on linux-gnu Sep 13 2006 23:25:27.

I wanted to use it to connect to my linksys router. It has a password,
but no username. I'm unable to use lynx because as soon as I hit
"return" for the username, it asks me "proceed without username/pw
[y/n]". In my view, it should only ask this after I've had a chance to
enter a password, because as it stands, no matter what answer I give,
I am unable to connect to my router.
