1.5 will also work I think, but lacks a bugfix for non-glibc users in libltdl,
and also a fix I made to AC_LIBTOOL_COMPILER_OPTION to fix a spurious error in
the m4 configury.
I need to add AC_LIBTOOL_PREREQ to the next version of libtool :-(
