make memory violation under win2k?? |

I sent an email to address@hidden and they directed me here.
I have been using the following:
make (any of the following: 3.75 - 3.79.1)
gcc 2.95.2
gpp 2.95.2
gxx 2.95.2
DJGPP v2.03
OS: Win2k Pro 5.00.2195 Service Pack 1
Problem: when I am running a make, every 2 or 3 times it runs, make crashes
with the following error:
-------
ntvdm.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x0f048d8a" referenced memory at "0x01340ffc". The
memory could not be "written".
-------
Additional info: if I use make (3.75) from an old cygwin lib, it doesn't
crash.
Any suggestions/help would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Jim
