[microdc-devel] static compiling

Hi

I wanted to compile microdc2 and run the resultant binaries on
different Linux distributions (without having to compile then each
time on different machines). With the current build process this does
not seem to be possible. I realize this is more to do with gcc
compilation then microdc2 :), but pointers in this direction would be
helpful.
