The shared libraries follow the pattern of "libQtCore4.a", and require flags like "-lQtCore4". If you use qmake, the right "-l" flags will be in your generated makefiles.Well, in my case (I just checked), when shared libs are used for Linux build, I have these options: g++ -Wl,-O1 -Wl,-rpath,/usr/lib64/qt4 -o build/APP *.o -L/usr/lib64/qt4 -lQtGui -L/usr/lib64 -L/usr/lib64/qt4 -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lQtCore + some others...
Sorry, I should have been clearer on the part. That bit applies to MinGW only. This is, by the way, not specific to mingw-cross-env. You'll also see those names in the binary SDK distributed by Nokia.
