My PATH starts with
/usr/local/mingw-cross-env/usr/bin:.:
and in /usr/local/
there is the following link
mingw-cross-env -> mingw-cross-env-2.18/

Well, this is probably an old habbit that keeps me from having any application
code developed by others in my own home directory.
However I just gave it a try with a cleaned PATH (no inclusion of
/usr/local/mingw-cross-env/usr/bin) and directly in my home directory.
Unfortunately, the "unrecognized option '-Qy'" error repeats itself.
