No.The procedure is to edit index.html (at the top), change src/gcc.mk modifying only the sha1sum, then 'make clean', and make gcc + all your other packages.
I'm still wondering how people can work with gcc 4.6.x, all the series has serious bugs on the optimizer which make them useless for me... 4.7.0? If you've worked with gcc for some time you know the .0 means BETA.
