Hi,
I try to investigate if MXE can be used to cross-compile a library. One
of the build steps on Windows is to create a local version of ltdl. Here
is an extract of configure.ac :
mingw* | pw32* | cygwin*)
...
# Prerequisite for Mingw build (import and build internal ./libltdl):
# $ libtoolize --ltdl
# $ ( cd libltdl; ./configure --host=i586-mingw32msvc && make )
# Use internal ./libltdl during configure:
CFLAGS="${CFLAGS} -I./libltdl"
Apparently, libltdl is quite common and of general purpose:
http://www.gnu.org/software/libtool/manual/html_node/Using-libltdl.html
To create it, it is enough to run the command:
libtoolize --ltdl
http://www.gnu.org/software/libtool/manual/html_node/Invoking-libtoolize.html
Do you think it might be worth to add it to mxe ?
Thanks
Remi
