No, I want to be able to build without trying to run anything with wine. So for tests that require running a program, I have usually tried to run the test on an actual Windows system and edit the configure test to return the right result without running anything.
OK, we use targets to control the compiler, and the yet-to-be-determined customisation hooks for things like the indexing options. Now I’m thinking we should add the customisation hooks as we go.
