Bless me, Schemers, for I have Schemed.

It has been 10 months since my last confession and, with a little help
from my friends, we now have a working, portabicklish virtual
machine.

Yes, I dare say it, finally, AFTER I took the precaution of getting
through compile-everything in the virtual machine, using the compiler
built by the boot-compiler built by the cross-compiler (which ran in a
native x86-64 host).  That precaution occupied a Core i3 550 4GB for
about an hour, and ended my old 32bit notebook with heat-death.

Just chant like so:

    ./configure --enable-native-code=svm
