Hi!
I'm using the latest mldonkey binary (1.4) on my fli4l
router. While everthing seems to be working fine, i
often get messages like
BUFFER OVERFLOW 1000000+5411> 1000000
with varying offsets when using the GUI. I also tried
setting the limit to 2000000 in downloads.ini, but it
doesn't seem to help much (now getting 2000000+27>
2000000)..
What does this number mean anyways? I'm downloading
some files with many sources.. does the core send the
whole list of sources (apparently 2MB??) to the GUI
every ten seconds? Or just deltas from the previous update?
apart from that: mlDonkey seems to need 128MB of ram. I
tried 64mb, but it just keeps swapping on the disk. CPU
usage is also very high: almost always 100%. I'm
running this on an CyrixMediaGX, 200MHz, RTL 8139 LAN
adapter, 128mb.
Sometimes the response time for the HTTP server is very
high, too. Sometimes in the range of 1 minute or more.
(but sometimes just a few ms.. any chance to tweak
this, or is my computer just too slow?)
keep up your great work!
