Hello,

I don't know if it need a email but my be it can interest you.
I have noticed something strange wih the block_list command on the
mldonkey-2.5-28p and mldonkey-2.5-28r (I haven't test it on mldonkey-2.5-28q)

First : the environment :
I use a Fedora Core 3 with the mldonkey taken from :
http://download.berlios.de/pub/mldonkey/spiralvoice/mldonkey-2.5-28r.static.i386-Linux.rar
http://download.berlios.de/pub/mldonkey/spiralvoice/mldonkey-2.5-28p.static.i386-Linux.rar
http://download.berlios.de/pub/mldonkey/spiralvoice/mldonkey-2.5-28o.static.i386-Linux.rar

Second : the Issue :
I use Peerguardian IP block list. my configuration is correct (I think) and
when I run mlnet all is ok, If I type block_list on the telnet I recieved the
number of ranges (which is, in my case, 69243 ranges) the first block ranges
arrives quickly but the maximum number
of blocked IPs I can see on the block_list result is 12. Even after 2 or 3 days
this number never increase (even if the number of hits on the block IP listed
have increased).

With the mldonkey-2.5-28o, I have the correct (normal ?) behaviour. The number
of blocked ranges increase to a high number.

If I try some IP taken from guarding.p2p file and use it with the block_test
command (on mldonkey-2.5-28r), the result is that the IP is a blocked one.

To compare between mldonkey-2.5-28o and mldonkey-2.5-28r I have try to download
the same file connecting to the same servers....

I will not have disturb you with this but as it concerns the security, I
prefer send an email. While now, I have get back to mldonkey-2.5-28o, which
seems more secure to me .

May be it's only a display problem where the maximum number of IP that have
been detected is limited but I haven't find any configuration key about it.

Thanks in advance.
