Hi.

These are only assumptions but I think that your mldonkey eats
up all the availeble bandwidth from your net connection and therefore
it seems like your unable to browse the net etc.

Try setting your max_download_rate & max_upload_rate from 0 to
something that leaves you atleast 5kb/s of free bandwidth.

I'm running mldonkey on my linux server which is P2-350 with 64MB of pc-100
memory and my netconnection is a 512/256 ADSL and when I'm surfing the net
from my workstation, my max download & upload rates are set to: download 45
and
upload 15.

That leaves me with enough bandwidth to browse the 'net and IRC..
