Hi there,

I reported an error two days ago. I had trouble commiting ('commit' order)
or quitting ('kill' order) on my mldonkey.

Suggestions were:

- either temp and incoming directories are on two different partitions

No, they were on the same partition.

- or the user you've started mldonkey as has no write access to incoming dir

No, it has.

- or try starting mldonkey the following way:
"./mldonkey 1>log 2>errors &"

This was the problem. SOLVED!

BTW, JoLorant suggested to Samstag:

I should say that I tried to search the list archives by myself before
posting, but I was unable to find a 'search' option. I tried to load some
months' pages and do a CTRL-F (explorer find) but without success.

Anyway, thanks for the fast answer to everyone involved.
