Use a traffic shaper; If you use Linux 2.4, the features are already in the
kernel:

But you still need to lower the mldonkey settings; If you saturate the
traffic limiter, backlog will build up, and increased delay can be a problem
to connect to Lugdunum servers p64 (their timeout for checking your client
port is too short IMO).
