[Mldonkey-users] RE : The automatic server list updating is driving me crazy.

This comes from the redirector that actually sends you information.
To have a clean Server list that mldonkey won't disturb, you have to 
"cheat" and set for example the redirector to your localhost @ 
127.0.0.1:1234. That way it won't load anything.

I also hope this could change, with an option to disable any 
interaction with the server list.
