[Mldonkey-users] MLDonkey + ntp -> MLDonkey strikes |

I just realized, why at some time MLDonkey stops all Downloads
for no Reason.
MLDonkey doesn't crash or hang, "only" the Downloads are all yellow painted in
gui.
I execute the following two lines by hand an get aware of the Problem MLDonkey
gets into:
ntpq -p rustime01.rus.uni-stuttgart.de &&
ntpdate -v rustime01.rus.uni-stuttgart.de
Then i stop MLDonkey and start it again and all is ok again.
So it is annoying, nothing critical i think.
Workarround: Update the Time when MLDonkey is not running ;)
I don't know how MLDonkey would behave with different time Offsets?
My Time on my machine differed -7202.332549 sec from the Timeservers out there.
Time before: Mon Aug 18 22:24:33 CEST 2003
ntpq + ntpdate: ntpdate[6672]: step time server 129.69.1.153 offset
-7202.332549 sec
Time after Sync: Mon Aug 18 20:24:41 CEST 2003
Perhaps if the Time only is wrong about several Seconds MLDonkey would work
further on, i don't know.
BTW: Does anyone know how to write this Time i get after each Sync to the
Mainboard(BIOS)?
It seams, that every Time i boot my Computer, the Time is wrong again.
