Hello,
I experience some stability problems as well on the win32 platform. The crashes
seem te be rather random in time, they happen sometime after 10 minutes,
sometimes after 10 hours. My experience is that the crashes occur during heavy
I/O traffic, especially reading/writing from disk. The 'delayed writes' option
doesn't change this. I tried it on and off and with several delayes.
The only solution for me is to let the mlnet daemon run as a service (using a
tool mentioned on my page http://www.student.tue.nl/u/o.p.v.loon/mldonkey). It
will then be restarted automatically on crash. Not a beautiful sollution, but
it works for me.
Cheers,
White FrosT

Subject: [Mldonkey-users] 2.5-4 (still) crashing
Hi,
I posted similar message about Mldonkey crashing a month ago, while I was
using 2.5-3 core. I got a post suggesting that I should remove old config
files and that it should cut it, but crashes appear after removing old
configs and using new core version also. After about 3~4 hours of running
core is killed ?!
I have created init script that starts deamon at boot up, from skeleton script
provided by suse8.2. All config files (*.ini) are smaller than 500kB.
Any suggestions?
