thats a known problem - since the hack of savannah last year the
checkout by tag is broken - its a savannah problem! atm theres no
other way than checkout by date (param -D) which is imho then better
way anyway because mldonkey-cvs got updated quite often without any
change in the version-tag....see the changelog to find out the exact
date of your desired cvs-state/version...
