Oh! I have nearly the same problem with SuSE 8.2:

src/config/unix/os_stubs_c.c:51: error: conflicting types for `os_lseek'
src/utils/lib/os_stubs.h:92: error: previous declaration of `os_lseek'
src/config/unix/os_stubs_c.c:69: error: conflicting types for `os_ftruncate'
src/utils/lib/os_stubs.h:94: error: previous declaration of `os_ftruncate'
make: *** [src/config/unix/os_stubs_c.o] Error 2

Do I need the same patch?
And (Sorry for dummy...): In which way can I patch with this file?
      (Making it executable or so?)
And: What is "dtou"?
