Another option I think I can live with :) would be to supply a -t
option to monit which will just start the parser and check the syntax
of the config file and then exit with an error or with ok. It's the
same as apache's httpd -t option.

Users could then test a config file before it's used with monit like
so: monit -t -c new_config_file
