Change log: http://www.tildeslash.com/monit/dist/beta/CHANGES.txt
This release is most probably last beta before final release.
Version 5.0 beta7:
------------------
NEW FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS:
* Report service's monitoring mode for M/Monit.
BUGFIXES:
* Monit blocked/unblocked SIGTERM, SIGINT SIGHUP and SIGUSR1
signals during operation often to protect certain code sections.
When the signal was sent during such timeframe for example to
stop monit, it was dropped and has to be retried in order to stop
monit. The limitation is removed now and signals will be processed
at any time. Thanks to Nicola Tiling for report.
* When the monit httpd allow option didn't specified the user:password
monit CLI logged folowing error (but the action was performed anyway):
Cleartext credentials needed for basic authorization!
This error was false - even access restriction based on host/net is
sufficient - user and password is just one of possible options (not
requirement). Thanks to Gilad Benjamini for report.
Finally, a big thanks to ALL who have contributed work and time to
create this release.
