roadmap - any date ?

Hi,

I am very interested in using monit to fulfill one of my client's
need, but I would the support for external commands. As I see it is
planned [1], I wonder if you know about when this feature could be
delivered ? Has the work already begun on this topic ? I had a look at
the repository, but could'nt find anything related in the source code.
