Per the discussion in the thread starting at
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/monotone-debian/2009-02/msg00006.html
- I've created a new 'org.debian.monotone' branch, copied over the
debian/ files from nvm.debian-diff, and pushed an initial stab at the
packaging changes necessary for 0.43.

I don't want to make an upload yet, for three reasons:

 - I'd like to give the reporter of #520808 a chance to respond to my
request for more information. The bug should be very easy to fix if I
can actually *find* it...
 - I'd like to update to debhelper v7. (For backport purposes, we
could branch org.debian.monotone.{lenny,etch} off the revisions I just
pushed, which still use v4 compat mode -- I don't have any intention
of doing those backports myself, but it will not be hard.)
 - More importantly than either, though, the libsqlite3-dev package
currently in unstable is seriously broken, see
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=520466 This prevents
me from running a pbuilder test of the build-dependencies, and will
also break all autobuild attempts. There's no point doing an upload
until there's a fixed sqlite package.

You may need to do something like

mtn pull --set-default monotone.ca '{net.venge,org.debian}.monotone*'

to pick up the new branch.
