I've done this and tried the same operation again. The timeout at the end of the pull is still there, though the message on the client side was different this time:monotone: exchanged goodbyes and flushed output on fd 5 (peer host.siliconcircus.com), disconnecting
good. that's "correct", at least on one side.
...and the client was then able to check the project out succesfully. So, a 90% success, but there's still the niggling TCP timeout and the fact that after its message ("monotone: fd 6 (peer 123.45.67.89:45849) read failed, disconnecting"), the server exits, which doesn't seem wildly desireable.
exits exits? like the program stops serving connections? that's weird. even with a failed read, it should just kill the connection and return to the service loop.
