My objective here is not to remove the actual branch, but simply to remove record of it from my db. Of course if I synced again with a server with that branch I would get the branch again, but then why do I keep deleting it if I am using it? It is simply a change on the local db. It may be a branch that I am not associated with and I just don't want to see it when I do a 'list branches'.
