Unfortunately I have the deadline for my graduate thesis in a couple
of weeks, so I can't take a look until later.

Oh, I don't know how many people are still interested in it, but after
a 0.24 compatible also on 4.x thanks to a patch by Václav Haisman it
got broken again in 0.25 beacuse it requires requires wcswidth(), not
present in 4.x's libc.
But I already tried adding a third-party wcswidth() in the file and it
is not the only issue, "make" stops anyway; I don't remember the other
reason (scarceness of time caused by the thesis and having no more
access to a 4.x box are most of the problem).
