It looks like a permission error. If the server doesn't have your key
or isn't set up to allow you write access, you'll get that error. This
has been fixed somewhat (the server sends a sensible error message, but
it doesn't get displayed as well as it could), but that server hasn't
been updated since then.

Ah. Right. May I have write permission for checking in changes to debian/*?
