Hi Simon
Yes, we've been talking with Cameron and have plans. It's a pity the workshop
clashes with tomorrow's myExperiment management meeting (otherwise I'd be
there!), but fortunately Paolo and Duncan are able to attend for myExperiment.
The lab notebook perspective is of considerable interest to the broader myGrid
family (Jeremy presented it in Manchester last month) so there are ongoing
discussions in that respect - Duncan and Paolo are key to this.
The next myExperiment team meeting is in Southampton on 27th March and we plan
to make the March hackfest and that meeting a chemistry focus. Mark Borkum is
going to be working with Jeremy and Cameron over the next month or so, so we
can cut code too :) We're also looking at the federated backend over the next
couple of months - for chemistry (you guys have data all over the place!) and
also our astronomy colleagues.
Thanks
-- Dave

Dave et al,
This provides us with a good impetus to pick up on where we left off before
Xmas, talking about recording chemists workflows etc. Cameron's (and other)
blogs are run out of chemistry here in Soton and would be the perfect
playground for thinking about this...
Simon.

Paolo and I will be going to the blog-based laboratory notebooks

Are there any particular workflows which capture what myExperiment is
all about, what it can do, what it can't do etc?
Duncan
