It will provide excellent networking opportunity in the IT sector for those who are already in the field or trying to break into the field.
What is the scope of the competition? For more information on how we define grid computing and the scope of our competition please click here.
What is the criteria? 'Grid computing for a greener planet' is the main focus for this competition. Entrants will be judged primarily on their solution's feasibility, scope and creativity. Grid computing, a service for sharing computer power and data storage capacity over the internet*, can be applied to any environmental issue that stands to benefit from a huge amount of raw processing power to calculate massive data sets. Entrants have the chance to be very creative.
