Carole, all,
you may be (very partially) comforted by knowing that I gave three two
hours lessons recently,
in two distinct courses, introducing Taverna, and BioCatalogue, and
myExperiment.
At least Italian researchers should know them better than other tools.
Ciao. Paolo

this drives me crazy! i am constantly on the moan about more
visibility.
alan - this was supposed to be fixed by the web site
I always refer to taverna as a Scientific Workflow Management System
and it as a Workflow Server and Workflow Workbench
Ae these words indexed by Google?
Are we being pointed to by sites?
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE lets get a link campaign going!
Carole
When I googled "Scientific Workflow Workbench" yesterday, I got 3
google
pages about Trident. The second page mentioned myExperiment (once) and
Kepler (once), and Taverna only appeared at the bottom of the 3rd page.
Attached.
Maybe some more SEO is required.
Paul.

Malcolm Atkinson included this in an email to me....
PS I just went to the coffee machine and encountered a PDRA telling
another about the benefits of using Taverna (an "EBI product").
They didn't know about myExperiment as a source of shared workflows
and a community of workflowers.
