A friend of mine has asked a question: how popular are workflows, web services etc. In biologyShe wanted clear indicators such as: - Number of biological laboratories using web services / workflows
the Elixir and Embrace projects might have survey data.
- Number of researchbiological papers that contain services / workflows in method sectionscientists don't include the programmes they use at all or even credit the bioinformatics in their methods. So why would they refer to a web service or workflow?

Has anyone made such analysis? If not, what can I present instead? George _______________________________________________ Myexperiment-discuss mailing list address@hidden http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/myexperiment-discuss
