Okay, presumably this is because of the gettext screwup we had for 1.1.11,
the nano.pot file got a bit screwed up among other things.  1.1.10 works fine, 
1.1.11 is broken, and the current CVS works fine.  This should be fixed with 
1.1.12 or you could use the .11 tree with the po files after 10/06 to make
a new release of .11.
