[Nano-devel] feature request

Hi,
I have a short request that I feel would make nano just that much better.
I program perl, and I often find the need to find a specific line to
squash bugs. I can restart nano with nano +linenumber bleh.bleh, but would
there be a way to include a line count (perhaps togglable?) within the
editor? It would really expediate finding things.
