[Nano-devel] search & replace doesnt always clear ?

sometimes i notice that when doing search & replace, the replace field is no 
longer cleared ?  is this a new feature or a bug ? :)

for example:
run nano
type 'asdf'
search for 'a' and replace with 'f'
hit 'a' for replace all
search for 'a' and when you go to replace, 'f' is still in the field
