Hi all,
On help-nano we've had the request for nano to be able to save a
file by default in Unix format, whatever the original format was.
https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/help-nano/2015-03/msg00000.html
Attached is a simple patch that achieves that (doc changes excluded).
It uses the recently freed option -u, and the long one --unix, and
the rcfile option "set unix". (Of course, when using --unix or having
"set unix" in one's rcfile, one can still save a file in DOS or Mac format
by using the M-D or M-M toggle in the ^O Write-Out dialog.)
Does this look like something useful and something that more people
would like to have?
Benno
