Okay.  But you've removed too many characters.  When
I now put "bind M-< help main" or "bind M-, help main"
in my .nanorc, they are colored in red instead of green,
but they are valid rebindings.

(BTW, please stop top-posting.)

Attached is a tweaked version of your patch -- just
some reorderings and condensations.  You'll have to
fix the missing characters yourself.  And give me a
signed-off patch.
