Attached version 2 of the softwrap navigation overhaul. The zip file
contains 9 cosmetic patches, and 35 actual code changes applied on top
of the cosmetic patches (tweaked per your feedback), so I hope it
should be more to your liking.
(Note on the cosmetic bits: you said to discard patch 29 of the
original, but it turns out that the comment there is inaccurate in
another way, so cosmetic patch 5 fixes it differently.)
