The settings are: nano's defaults: a tab is 8 spaces,
but the indentation step of the code is 4. Yes, that's
silly, it results in a mixture of tabs and four spaces,
but that's how it is at the moment.
About the test: I will not have time the next 2 days to do this :(. I will get
back with a reply when I get some time if I find any thing suspicious.
Take your time. I have three other bugs to fix and
almost no spare time either. So... don't hurry.
