The proposed envvar does not turn errors into a backtrace, it just
prevents the crash handler from being invoked (a handler that saves
any changed buffers, so the user doesn't lose any work, and doesn't
leave the terminal in a messed-up state), so that a backtrace can be
made if the operating system is configured to do so.

So, I'll stick with NANO_NOCATCH for now.
