i'm not trying to hijack jerrad's bug report, but this is quite
related, and i just noticed it yesterday. in nmh-1.2,
subject-major date-minor sorting does not work for me. the man
page (and sortm's own verbose output) imply that "-textfield
subject -limit 0" will sort "textfield-major, date-minor", which
should group a mailbox essentially by subject threads, in Date:
order within a subject. the date sorting never happens -- messages
are grouped by subject, but left in original date order. i can
work around this with two passes:
sortm
sortm -textfield subject
but this seems silly.
